La Vital Orquesta de Tulancingo
El pasado 23 de febrero me invitaron a participar con pintura en vivo a un concierto homenaje a José José de la Orquesta Sinfónica de Tulancingo, Hidalgo.
Hay dos tipos de expresiones artísticas que me interesan. Una la que tiene por principio el valor estético y formal. Es decir cuando hay mucha calidad técnica, cuidado al detalle y responde a profundizar en las posibilidad de los sentidos. En contraparte el arte activista y social cuya finalidad es incentivar el cambio social más que preocuparse por el valor estético. Estas dos expresiones no son mutuamente excluyentes y es de lo quiero reflexionar con esta entrada.
El nacimiento de la Orquesta de Tulancingo, Hidalgo. Fue un proyecto emprendido por la sociedad civil. Es difícil que en pueblos o ciudades pequeñas la gente se organice para lograr un infraestructura que sostenga una orquesta sinfónica, de todas formas en Tulancingo ya es un hecho. Esto significa que ahora en la dinámica de la ciudad hay un nuevo enfoque. El de la búsqueda de la excelencia, en este caso musical. Ahora la gente se prepara para audicionar, toma su tiempo para ensayar y para presentar lo mejor de si en sus conciertos. Además de que la comunidad esta orgullosa de ir a escuchar los conciertos en los que sus familiares participan. Es una cadena de eventos que enriquecen las experiencias de cada miembro de esta sociedad. Pero para lograr esto, es necesario crear a un público y eso no siempre es cosa fácil. Cuando me platicaron que querían poner visuales en vivo para que su público pudiera disfrutar con todos los sentidos y hacer un evento más atractivo, me di cuenta del grado de esfuerzo que se está poniendo en, justamente, crear a su público.
Todo esto me recuerda al Sistema Nacional de Orquestas Infantiles y Juveniles de Venezuela. Un proyecto educativo en el cual se buscaba (o busca) que las comunidades más vulnerables tuvieran una actividad que las dignificara. Parafraseando al mstro. Abreu fundador del sistema (que a su vez citaba a la Madre Teresa de Calcuta) es que lo peor de la pobreza no es no tener zapatos (por decir algo) sino, sentirse “nadie”, no sentir tener una identificación social o estima pública. El Sistema de Orquestas generó un cambio radical en la sociedad venezolana en este sentido, catapultó a niños a conocer el mundo a travez de la música y sacó adelante a talentos como Gustavo Dudamel, ahora uno de los directores de orquesta más reconocidos en el mundo.

Mi punto de debate es ¿dónde está el hecho artístico? En la interpretación musical, en el proceso de perfeccionamiento personal por medio de los ensayos, o en el cambio radical de la dinámica social.
La verdad no me importa precisar este punto, más bien dejar ver que la unión de los valores estéticos y los sociales de las diferentes expresiones artísticas generan una sinergia tan vital que vale la pena crear buscando esta unión. Creo que el gran aporte del arte es que tiene recursos para moldear la forma de vivir en la que realmente creemos. Parece que generalizo como si fuera algo muy teórico, pero verlo (y escucharlo) materializado con este evento de la Orquesta Sinfónica de Tulancingo y su Coro me llena de energía para seguir este encontrando maneras de moldear la vida.
