Batallas gozosas y batallas importantes

 

Los había invitado a todos al Art Battle del 31 de enero, les estaba escribiendo para contarles cómo me “entrené” para participar y todo lo que viví ahí.  Como ya saben el Art Battle se trata de pintar algo en 20 minutos lo suficientemente bueno como para pasar al siguiente nivel por medio de la votación del público. Unos meses antes de participar en este evento por fin pude tomar clases con uno de mis héroes pintores: Gonzalo García (chequen su trabajo esta en otra dimensión, insta: @gonzalogarcianoactor). El gran Gonzalo, me ayudó a tener una estrategia para el concurso. Ideamos una composición interesante, llegamos a colores que captaran la atención, practicamos hasta que logré hacer la pintura deseada en 20 min. Hice 16 pinturas para practicar y poder pasar a la final. Para sorpresa de las 16 pinturas previas la no.17 significó pasar a la final. Les quería contar con detalle cada dificultad y parte emocionante, como cuando lavaba mis pinceles en el baño mientras pronunciaban mi nombre como finalista, pero tengo que resumir que no gané y que fue una experiencia muy enriquecedora y gozosa.

 

Ahora vamos a pasar a lo siguiente.

Lo siguiente es que no pude escribirles una entrada detallada del evento porque sentí que era tiempo de unirme a la protesta por los feminicidios en México. Sentí que no podía hablar de otra cosa. Hasta las pinturas que hice se quejaron. Quisieron participar y se conectaron naturalmente. Me pregunté a mi misma ¿De qué sirven mis esfuerzos diarios, si no tenemos un propósito? Si estamos condicionados a seguir la inercia de “lo urgente”. Lo urgente, que siempre va a ser la subsistencia inmediata, las cosas del trabajo. Si somos sinceros pocos de nosotros nos encontramos en una situación en la que no nos sea posible tomarnos por lo menos un minuto para parar y hacer notar que algo no está bien. Desde finales del año pasado he pensado y repensado en esta inercia de -no parar- porque creemos que no hay opción.

A mi me parece que sí hay opción. Siento que cada persona tiene algo que hacer, una cosa muy importante que tiene que hacer y que tiene que aportar. Cada uno de nosotros sabe que es o por lo menos lo intuye. Este año empecé con el único propósito de ponerme en acción, en lo que creo que tengo que hacer. ¿Qué va a pasar si realmente hago ese proyecto tan importante para mi? No deteniéndome en los trabajos que parecen buenos pero que me desvían de mi propósito, qué pasaría si sí lo hago. No estoy segura de que haciendo lo que crees que debes hacer, te lleva donde sueñas, pero estoy segura de que son las pistas que uno tiene para sacar lo mejor de si, todo el resto es especulación.
